I am passionate about the beauty industry in general because it is the only industry where there is an external-internal exchange. What I mean by that is there is no other profession where you can change someone’s internal perception of who they are by doing something externally to their hair or skin. It’s a beautiful thing, actually.
I have been in the beauty industry for over 30 years!
What I love most about the students at my campus is their tenacity to finish even when they feel they don’t have the resources to do so. They are the epitome of someone who repeatedly gets knocked down but fights to get back on their feet to finish.
